This is a print of a re-created medical history painting published by the Locklairs.     "Home Delivery" is a historically accurate scene of the time when most births occurred at home.      This painting was medically directed by John M. Thomason, M.D. of Florence, South Carolina.     The watercolor painting features Dr. Thomason’s father, the late Dr. Eddie Thomason, who performed home deliveries on a routine basis.
