This abandoned old house with a white tail deer casually browsing around is typical of the very early farm houses across the southern U. S.   These old houses are mostly gone now, but many families got their start from such humble beginnings.   The wisteria is taking over its weathered boards and rusted tin roof.   The mail box, long since empty, is covered with vines as nature reclaims the land.
